Twine is an online marketplace and network that connects creative freelancers in music, design and film to buyers.

We are looking for a passionate, creative, and team-oriented Social Media Manager. This is a part-time but important role that involves developing and executing social media strategy, performing outreach for other digital marketing activities, and writing blogs and emails. The role includes monitoring metrics and performance of our social media and digital marketing content.

The ideal candidate should enjoy working for a startup, especially within a green and conscious fashion company, and will work directly with the founder while gaining experience in multiple areas.

Responsibilities
• Content Creation Calendar Development: Create and maintain a content calendar for social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube) that aligns with brand strategy.
• Develop high-quality content, including photos, videos, and media that reflect brand messaging.

• Capture content locally at events and with the founder.
• Proactively seek and coordinate brand partnerships to enhance engagement and follower growth.
• Organize and incorporate User-Generated Content (UGC) to build brand trust.
• Engage with followers and develop relationships through community management.
• Contribute to writing blog posts for the website and other platforms.
• Perform outreach as required by social media platform engagement or other company activities.
• Monitor performance of our social media and other channels, taking necessary actions to improve performance.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree.
• 2 years of experience in social media development and management (preferred).
• Skilled in content development and familiar with photography and video creation with an eye for brand aesthetics.
• Proficient in platforms like Canva.
• Experience in community management and relationship building.
• Comfortable with copywriting and familiar with analytics tools to track engagement.
• Passionate about the sustainable and cruelty-free industry.
• Must have a driver’s license, access to a vehicle, and be comfortable with driving.
• Must live near or be able to commute to Oakland, CA.

Benefits
• Pay: $20.00 per hour.

Additional Information
