THE TEAM

The Content Engine has been set up specifically to service Boots UK. We have built an exciting team of creatives, strategists, analysts, account and project managers, who drive a new approach to paid and owned content creation, putting the customer at the heart of everything we do.

The organic social team ideate and create content for Boots UK’s social accounts across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter around a variety of themes, such as value, health and wellness, but beauty content is some of the most important across all platforms.

Boots UK organic social has come on leaps and bounds in the past year – from multiple viral moments in beauty, to creating headlines from signing Love Island S8 finalist Indiyah Polack as their official beauty ambassador, there’s always something exciting happening and tons of opportunities to create best-in-class content.

THE ROLE¬†Working across Boots’ prominent social channels, the Social Media Assistant will have an amazing opportunity to be a part of crafting the content and community strategy for one of the biggest names in health and beauty.

Daily Tasks will include:

  • Community management: m onitoring conversations and responding on behalf of the brand
  • Owning & bringing to life brand voice in our social media/ community management responses
  • Development of social content including responding to client briefs, ideating, shooting and editing social content (TikTok, IG Reels, etc)
  • Social listening insight and recommendations to activate the brand in culture and connect with the brand’s audience
  • Developing communications & content strategies that leverage all key social platforms in unique ways
  • Social reporting to identify learnings to implement for future activityCommunication with the client & internal teams
  • Keeping across what’s happening in the world of social; trendspotting for content ideas as well as keeping an eye on platform updates that may be relevant

YOU

  • Strong creative and content skills-you must be able to concept ualise and capture social content for platforms like TikTok & IG
  • Ability to multitask and prioriti s e
  • You have a thirst for keeping on top all things social, from trend spotting and ideation to content creation
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to build relationship and regular communication with client
  • Interest in social and emerging media
  • Understanding of social media tools and capabilities, including:
  • Platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, etc)
  • Social listening through social platforms
  • Social media measurement/analytics & ability to pull into a report
  • A proactive state of mind, always wanting to find new social niches and bring them to life for the client
